Toxic Femininity emerges when we don’t identify with our own femininity — but instead adopt a version that has been imposed on us.
This often leads to behavioral patterns that feel alien, that don’t do us any good, and ultimately turn toxic.
Those affected put themselves under immense pressure. Relationships become more difficult, stress levels rise, vague anxieties appear — sometimes even physical illness follows.

Women still searching for their true face? Or perhaps hiding it?
Letting go of toxic femininity is often a long and not always easy journey — but always a healing one. At times, it may feel like losing a part of yourself. But that’s exactly where the opportunity lies: in new lightness, in diversity, in the beauty that comes from it.
The many colors in my paintings are meant to show just that: even heavy topics can carry something wonderful. And it's always worth pressing the reset button.
