GINE FENDT, 1986

ABOUT

Gine Fendt is an artist who makes the invisible visible.
Her work revolves around themes like identity, femininity, and inner transformation — always with a focus on what lies beneath the surface.

Born with a fine sensitivity for emotions and nuances, Gine discovered her path to art early on. Colors, shapes, and textures became tools for exploring and expressing inner processes.

Her artworks combine a powerful visual language with deep emotional resonance. She creates spaces where viewers are invited to discover themselves — free from expectations and open to personal interpretation.

Her artistic approach is guided by intuition, courage, and a deep love for change. For Gine, art is not just a form of expression — it is a path to healing.
Processes of letting go, becoming anew, and rediscovering oneself run like a red thread through her creations.

Before devoting herself fully to art, Gine studied social work and worked in various social institutions, driven by her deep desire to listen and support people. Her last position was at the correctional facility in Kempten, where she initiated a groundbreaking program that allowed incarcerated parents to engage regularly with their children — even in the absence of the other parent. The program gained national attention and was adopted across Germany.

After struggling with serious illness and deep psychological lows, Gine found the strength and courage to share her work with the public. Her art not only speaks of inner battles — but also of the resilience it takes to meet oneself anew.

With her debut series “Toxic Femininity”, Gine Fendt makes a bold statement: for authentic self-exploration, for the strength to question ingrained patterns — and for the beauty that can emerge from that process.

Gine lives and works with deep passion for art — always in search of new forms of expression for what touches, moves, and transforms.
